Let’s blast a hole
Through this spider web
Let’s sing our song tonight.

Let’s pilfer the schemes
Of the plane of dreams,
And go to the land beyond sight.

I don’t believe our robot brains,
They spew out earthly chatter.
Let’s invoke the grace
Of the inner space -
And go where real things matter.

Life deals not with what we’ve got,
And January to December.
And may I never tire,
To relight the fire,
Whenever I remember . . .
